At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the country is in turmoil and the Manchurians are poised to advance upon the capital of Beijing. The city is in a chaos, with martial arts masters from royal guards to local bandits gathering in the city vying for the map of Taizu Emperor Treasure.

This is A.W.O.L.(classic Van Damme) in Harlem, on steroids, and possibly some other drugs. If you like M.M.A. you will love this film; (Kimbo Slice and Big Bob Sapp are in it for one) Michael Jai White shows off with some flash fight choreography and sick moves on a par with the likes of Tony Jaa. He really does mix up the action showing himself as a true master of different martial arts styles.
